In short, everything is included. There are no “add-on” modules or other costs. There are no “gotcha’s.” And if it’s not in the system, today, future upgrades will be available at no additional charge. When you have the Oxbow EMR system, you have the entire Oxbow EMR system.
How much will it cost me?
There are two options:
Option 1
Flat monthly fee, no up-front costs, all hardware and future hardware updates are included, and the entire system is permanently under full warranty:
+ $799/mo for the first physician+ $689/mo for each additional physician
Option 2
Buy the hardware up-front and pay less each month. All hardware includes a 1-year warranty from Oxbow.
+ $9,995 one-time for the first physician+ $6,495 one-time for each additional physician
+ $499/mo for each physician
Note that under Option 2, if there are hardware changes in the future or if the hardware wears out, you will be responsible for purchasing new equipment from Oxbow. Option 1 is a better plan if you have limited capital available when you start, or just don’t want to worry about having to buy new equipment. Option 2 is a better plan if would rather spend more money up front to save some in the long run.
Oxbow’s warranty covers manufacturer’s defects. It does not cover physical damage to the equipment.
This Complete EHR is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria for Eligible Providers adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
Version 1 of Oxbow EMR received certification for all available criteria on April 26, 2011, plus Clinical Quality Measures 0013, 0024, 0028, 0038, 0041, 0059, 0061, 0064, and 0421. Oxbow EMR's certification # is CC-1112-698600-1. No additional components, neither hardware nor software, are required to use the ONC-ATCB-certified Oxbow EMR.
All Oxbow customers receive the fully certified version of the Oxbow EMR system. Oxbow does not charge an additional fee or put a surcharge for access to the fully certified system for Meaningful Use.
